The owner's briefings
Most of what an owner should understand before talking to anyone is knowable now. These briefings set it out plainly, with no gate and no signup. Read them on your own time; they ask nothing of you.
-
Owner's Briefing No. 1
How independent practices are actually valued
What acquirers look at when they assess a practice like yours, explained in the owner's language rather than the acquirer's.
-
Owner's Briefing No. 2
Deal structures, from the owner's side of the table
Equity rollover, earnouts, and what each structure actually means for your staff and your autonomy after a transaction.
-
Owner's Briefing No. 3
Before you take any meeting
The questions worth asking and the confidentiality terms worth insisting on — whoever is on the other side of the table.
A note on your specialty
These briefings are general by design. If a fuller picture would be useful — what activity in your particular specialty looks like at the moment, and what it tends to mean for a practice like yours — that is something we can walk through in a private conversation. It is information, offered privately. Asking for it starts nothing and obliges you to nothing.
